Charismatic Prayer Group

This group honors and worships the Trinity by songs, prayers, sharing Scripture and exercising the charisms given to us by the Holy Spirit. In praising God at each meeting, everyone seeks formation by the Holy Spirit and prays for the physical, emotional and spiritual healing of all the Church and the needs expressed by the members. Attended by all ages, this group focuses on developing mature Christian living as a family community.
Time commitment: Tuesdays from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.

Faith Alive

For over 25 years, St. Hilary has held an annual retreat during Lent. Open to men and women over 18 years of age, the retreat is led by Fr. Norm Douglas and supported by a team of parishioners. Fr. Norm presents a dynamic vision that focuses on ways to affirm, equip and support Catholic men and women in their daily life mission of being the Church in their world of family, workplace, and community. The retreat is consistently rated the top non-liturgical spiritual experience offered by the parish. Join us and learn how you can strengthen the connection between faith, work, and your daily life.
Time commitment: The 2011 retreat will occur Friday evening, March 4th through Saturday, March 5th.

Grounds for Faith meets at Guardian Angels Parish, Copley. This group caters to young adults, both married and single. The coffee house is an opportunity to foster faith and friendships in an informal atmosphere. Compelling speakers on topics pertinent to young adults provide an environment of sharing faith, knowledge, questions, and concerns.

Journey Women

Women are invited to join for a retreat every 5th Monday of the month. They meet in Sand Run Park at Shady Hollow Pavilion. The group spends their time together reading, walking, sharing and journaling.

Men's Group

All men are invited to attend and to share the Lord’s action in their life. This group focuses on living in the modern world as a Catholic Christian man. Those who participate receive unconditional acceptance and prayerful support from the group. Men who are inactive in the church, as well as those who are very active, benefit from participation. Each meeting begins with a Mass. All are welcome to attend Mass.
Time commitment: Meetings are the second Saturday of each month from 7:00 to 8:30 am. Each meeting begins with Mass in the church followed by a speaker then small group discussion.

This group offers prayers, joys and sufferings to God for the salvation of souls and for special monthly intentions. Members receive a monthly bulletin with the intentions for the month along with prayers and seasonal stories.
