Men's Group
Men Spending Time with the Family
On Saturday morning, March 13, following a parish Mass at 7:00 am in the church, and then bagels, doughnuts and coffee, the Men’s Group will hear short readings on the reasons for and value of dads, sons, uncles, brothers, etc making space in their busy schedules for those really important people in a man’s life. Next, will be interactive discussion in small groups exploring the obstacles to spending more time with family and exploring ways of dealing with these problems. All men, high school age and older are invited to attend. Bring a friend. For further details, contact Jim Kilcoyne at (330) 929-7431.
Our Vision
We are committed men, principally Catholic, who recognize our need for God's help. We gather in Christ's presence in an atmosphere of trust, equality, and anonymity to share personal feelings and experiences. We unconditionally accept each other and prayerfully support one another.
Our Mission and Goals
We are committed to growing closer to Jesus Christ, encouraging all of our brothers to study, practice and share our Catholic Faith, to eliminate racial and cultural barriers, to lead our families in Holiness, to support our clergy, and to support each other spiritually. We assemble, having the status of the Living Body of Christ as manifested in today's Christian/Catholic man, in order to bring to life solutions for today's world based in scripture. We seek to further the teachings and way of life that our Lord Jesus Christ has given to us in this modern world.
CMFNEO
Our Parent organization is the Catholic Men’s Fellowship of Northeast Ohio. It is an outreach to men with a focus to deepen and support men’s Catholic faith and identity, grow spirituality and strengthen families. The ministry tries to enrich the reality of “Church” over and above the experience of the Sunday liturgy. It also focuses on men who have lost the yearning for the Catholic faith and are minimally or not active in the Church. At the other end of the scale the ministry offers very active men a means to step back to take time for spiritual growth. The ministry is built upon the essential Catholic components of the Word of God, the teaching of the church and the Sacraments with the Eucharist as its center.
