Pat Schnee

Hi, my name is Pat (Rennie) Schnee and I am a pastoral minister here at St. Hilary parish. My primary responsibilities are those that involve adult education and formation.

What that means is that I am responsible for the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults), the process through which individuals become full members of the Catholic church; I work with our parish Adult Education Committee to provide quality faith experiences for adults and with Sr. Marie Bohn, HM who facilitates our Bible Buddies; and I am the resource person for our network of Small Christian Communities.

I meet many of our new parishioners in my role as the staff person responsible for the Pastor’s Welcome Meal. Each year St. Hilary parish sponsors at least one intergenerational, life-long faith formation program, Adventures in Faith and I chair the AF Core Team. Last but not least, I oversee our parish library.

In 1991, after certification as a pastoral minister for the Diocese of Cleveland, I joined the staff of St. Hilary.

My husband Bill and I have four grown children and eight grandchildren.
