Mary Lou Grossmann

Mary Lou Grossmann is director of liturgy and liturgical music at St. Hilary Church in Fairlawn. A graduate of the University of Michigan (Master of Music) and the University of Notre Dame (M.A. in Liturgical Studies), her professional life has included teaching college music in her home town of Toledo and working in campus ministry at Michigan State University.

Following her move to Akron with husband John and son Chris, she became involved as a volunteer at St. Sebastian’s, working with the baptism program and the RCIA team. In 1984, she accepted her present position at St. Hilary’s and has witnessed the growth and flowering of many liturgical and musical ministries.
