Father Joe

Born November 3, 1959 to Ralph and Denise Warner, Fr. Joe grew up in Copley and is one of 7 children. He attended the Copley school system and attended PSR at Guardian Angels. Fr. Joe has degrees in Civil Engineering (from The Ohio State University) and Electrical Engineering (from the University of Akron) and had worked for a consulting engineering firm as a registered professional engineer before entering the seminary.

Fr. Joe received his priestly formation and training at St. Mary Seminary in Wickliffe, Ohio and was ordained as a priest for the Diocese of Cleveland on May 17, 2003. His first assignment was at St. Joseph Parish in Amherst, Ohio and he was transferred to St. Hilary Parish in June, 2007. He looks forward to journeying in faith with the community of St. Hilary Parish.

Fr. Joe enjoys playing and watching a variety of sports and jogs a few times a week to try to get into shape. After recently discovering that he needs reading glasses, Fr. Joe enjoys reading and figuring out solutions to complex problems (but not too complex!).
